RECAP.

So I haven't legitimately updated this in like, a long time. Let's see what little things I can throw in.

I cut my hair. I don't mean trim. I mean it's a different style. It's a bob. :) It looks good.

I got a 29 on the ACT. That's out of 36. That's damn good, and good enough to get me into USC, UCLA, and the rest of the more lenient schools like... Stan State.

Speaking of Stan State, I got accepted.

I got a 1770 on the SAT. That's out of 2400. That's a horrible score. That's good enough to keep me in Stan State, but that's it.

I got a 510 on French with Listening, and a 580 on Literature. Those are out of 800. Again, FML.

I realized that I have been on my period for both of the SATs I've taken, and I'm supposed to be on it for the next one in December. I wish there was a coding I could put in that said "I am on my period, please take my scores with a grain of salt." I'm pretty sure that's what's effing up my scores.

I've already applied to Stan State, obviously, and to San Diego State. My apps to UCLA and UC Santa Barbara have been sent. My app to Nebraska U is taken care of too. I'm sending out my theatre application for USC today, and that entire app will be finished by the end of the long weekend.

That leaves Belloit, Case Western Reserve, Northwestern, and Whittier for the month of December... when their apps are due in January...

I think my cat is preggers. We'll find out today, all the un-caged animals are going to the vet.

I'm the Laundress in Marley's Ghost.

I need to get Little Sally in Urinetown. I'm breaking out the Annie songs for the upcoming audition.

Naf and I had one hell of a falling out. We still have to work together in the play, but other than that, we don't talk. We don't talk about anything BUT the play, if we talk. It sucks. But that's life. Maybe we'll be friends again... in like... 10 years.

I got contacts. I wear them every once in a while.

I'm getting good with the uke. I can't sing and play very well at the same time, though.

Carrie's going to come visit up here soon. :) I get to kidnap her.

I got a job. I'm the receptionist at Capitol Door Sales. Tay's parents own it. He's the janitor. Sally has not called me in two months. Sucks for her. If she calls and says she needs me to work, too bad. I like this job better anyway. I don't have to remind anyone to poop every hour, on the hour, and they actually comprehend things.

I think that's it for now.

OH Turkey day...

Woke up around 830, cleaned quite a lot so Mom would let me go get Tay so he could help me make Pumpkin Mousse for our dinners. After that, I finished my UC apps, and submitted them. Made cranberry sauce and clam dip, got the pumpkin mousse made, got dressed, picked up Tay, he made the whipped cream, we went to his place to eat. Stayed for a while. Liz (Tay's Mom) was dying, so I had my Mom bring her some BioFreeze when she came to pick us up. Went to Gustine for a Thomas Thanksgiving. I had my uke, so I got to veg for a bit when I finished eating. Taylor and I just about fell asleep on each other a few times. Mom took him home, where my car was parked, and I drove myself home. Long day. Lots of ungodly dry turkey...

Current State of the Union:
In: Mousse. Out: Pie.
In: Whipped cream. Out: Canned whipped cream.
In: Hippie. Out: Emo.

Today was a minimum day at school. Math was blah. French was a little... eventful. We got some news. We progressively got more throughout the day. I can't quite come up with the exact story. I do know of some sure things, however. That'll come later. Sub in 2nd period. I started working on Murry's epic Marley's Ghost sign. History. Ad-libbed the essay. I'm not going to do well on this test. I know I'm not. I just quit caring. The green room was solemn during lunch. TOK was boring. I did reading work. I hate having to borrow Castellani's book. She thinks I'm irresponsible, probably. It's not my fault the ghosts stole my book... English was a test. I did fine. Drama... we got the official visit from Mr. Manning. Everyone was pretty numb. I didn't want to work. It took me the better part of the day to chill, and I was all... numb again. Picked up Tay, went home, cried, cleaned up, went to work, worked, got gas and whipping cream for tomorrow, went home, cleaned some more.

So here's the story. Nimrit Sidhu is in Leadership. She's in Drama too. I've known her since she was a freshman. Her parents are kinda hard on her. I heard in French that she tried to commit suicide, didn't know how. Heard in 4th period that she shot herself in the stomach with a shotgun. How did she get the shotgun? She hunts. Heard that she was stable as of now, she had been critical around noon today from Mr. Manning. After I got home, I heard that she had been cleaning the gun and it went off. Someone else said the angle of the gun caused her to puncture at least one lung, if not both. So I believe the injuries. I don't know the motive. But I do believe that if she ever has to clean her gun again, she'll check for a bullet in the chamber.
